It almost feels like I'm not wearing shoes. They are functional, but still a bit stylish. I bought the silver viper because I wanted a "neutral" sandal that I could wear with dresses during warm weather and still be able to walk comfortably. They have a little heel, and the platform foot bed feels stable without being heavy. They are adjustable over the front of the foot at the base of the toes, behind the heel and across the instep. One of my feet is prone to retaining water due to an ankle injury when I was a teen. These sandals are soooo great!
